The Bruce High Quality Foundation, the official arbiter of the estate of the late Bruce High Quality, is pleased to announce the first public exhibition of the works of Bruce High Quality.

Beginning his career at the doorstep of Deitch Projects auditioning for the first art world reality television show, Artstar, Bruce High Quality’s short life was a testament to the contemporary possibilities of social sculpture.  Only Joseph Beuys and Andy Warhol compared in their conflation of art with the systems of modern media.

This exhibition brings together the long-awaited diaristic video of Bruce High Quality’s audition for Artstar, photos and documents from his life performing in the public sphere, and the newly unearthed tragic/ironic photos from his final and greatest performance – the death of Bruce High Quality.
